How to propose a translation?

Postby Didier » 05 Mar 2010, 00:27

If you would like to have WinMoDof in your language, you are very welcome to propose a translation.
Create a new topic with your language name, copy the content of this topic and replace all other language translations by yours. Please try to keep the character count quite identical.
I will add your translations in the next version of WinMoDof.

If you want to test your translation, take a look at this topic

You can also comment or correct a translation by replying to the concerned topic.
Thanks

Hello Didier!
Congratulations for your WinMoDOF!
I'll make a spanish translation.
Can I use "ñ" 's? Can I test the translation before submit it?

Thanks Lezek for your reply.
It should be ok for the "ñ" and other symbols like inverted "?" and "!" (sorry I don't know the name of these symbols)... But I have to check that.
I will provide, probably this evening, a kind of "Language test kit", so anyone will be able to test if a translation displays correctly and fits to the screen.

[Edit]
I have tested, you can use any symbol you want.

[Edit]
A language test tool is available here.

It works perfect (except for the country flags, of course).

Thanks!
